EV owners already know that their vehicle’s electric drivetrain puts unique stresses on the brake system—and that’s true even without using the battery regen feature.

So with the driving dynamics of electric vehicles in mind, the brake brainiacs over at PowerStop have launched these EV35 Electric Vehicle Brake Kits.

At the heart of each EV35 kit is a set of specially-designed EV brake pads with shims that deliver quiet, smooth operation. The pads themselves use a carbon fiber ceramic compound that not only fights brake fade, it’ll reduce brake dust to keep your wheels looking clean.

As for the rotors, they’re 100 percent mill-balanced and feature PowerStop’s own special “Dual-Guard” FNC treatment and heat cured compound that’ll prevent rust and corrosion.
