Back in the day, a good truck bed cap was simply a fiberglass or aluminum shell that offered your cargo box a wee bit of protection from Mother Nature and prying eyes.

But the folks at LEER are taking bed caps to the next level with their innovative NexCap modular truck caps.

As the name implies, these bed caps are modular, which is a fancy way of saying they can be assembled and disassembled. That makes them easier to transport…and easier to store when not in use. (If you’ve ever seen a mildew-covered bed cap languishing in someone’s backyard, then you can see the appeal of safely storing one flat against an interior wall of a shed or garage.)

Easy assembly/disassembly is only part of the magic here though.

The metal construction means the integrated roof rack can support up to 660 pounds of gear, and you’ll see clever T-slot mounting panels on each side, so you can quickly secure MOLLE mounts or other cargo for transport.

Better still, the rock-solid construction and lockable doors means your stuff stays secure and out of sight.

LEER tells us that assembling the top is a breeze—and best of all, it installs onto your truck side rails with NO drilling.

LEER makes its Modular NexCap Bed Caps for a range of truck models like the Chevy Silverado, Ford F-150, Ram 1500, and Toyota Tundra, in varying bed lengths.
